Brother Timothy was saved at the age of fourteen while living in Germany. After moving to Canada in 2009, he surrendered to serve his Saviour, and graduated from Canadian Baptist Bible College. Esther was saved at the age of eight. She also attended Canadian Baptist Bible College.

The Janzens went on a short survey trip to Victoria BC in 2015. In June 2017 their family moved to Victoria, where Brother Timothy was lead to pastor Capital City Baptist Church. They have been serving the Lord in various ministries including preaching and teaching, discipleship, counselling, soul-winning, Sunday school, music, outreach, Kid's camp and more.
