Billy was saved on April 11, 2008. He spent spring break with a friend, and that night, the conviction was so real, he thought that if he did not make the decision to be saved, he would not live through the night. Billy got out of bed and confessed his sinful state. He repented of his sin and accepted Christ's completed work on the cross for his salvation.
Billy's call to missionary service happened when he realized the enormous amount of work to be done on the field--he watched all that his father, a missionary in Mexico, was trying to accomplish with zero help. Through that realization came his call to service and he has been in the ministry since 2010. Billy took over the pastorate at Templo Bautista Obergón after his father's Home-going in February 2024.
